The nervous system is the organ system responsible for control of body movement, sight and hearing, the perception of pain and pleasure, bodily functions such as breathing and digestion, language, memory and thought. Students will learn about the peripheral and central nervous system and what each is responsible for. Students will learn about diseases and disorders of the nervous system and how they are treated.
