Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse
Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse

Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) is a significant problem that results in unnecessary costs to federal healthcare programs.  It is required that every service provider and individual who provides health or administrative services for Medicare enrollees have the ability to detect, correct, and prevent FWA.

All persons who provide health or administrative services to medicare enrollees must satisfy general compliance and FWA training requirements annually.  The purpose of this training is to provide all of the fraud waste and abuse information training that is required to be compliant with the Medicaid/Medicare C and D program as a downstream entity.
