Welcome to the Judicial Courts Interpreter Assessment Program. This Judicial Courts Assessment for Language Interpreters is designed to evaluate the qualifications and readiness of individuals seeking to serve as interpreters within the court system. The assessment consists of two components: a language proficiency evaluation to measure fluency and accuracy in both English and the target language, and a multiple-choice exam that tests knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, professional ethics, and interpreter standards. The goal is to ensure that all interpreters meet the high standards required to support due process and facilitate clear, impartial communication in judicial settings.
