Endocrine System

The endocrine system serves as the body's messenger system.  In this module students will learn about the many functions of the endocrine system and how it produces hormones that regulate metabolism, growth and development, reproduction, sleep, and mood among other things.  Students learn about the major hormones of the endocrine system and what each is responsible for.  Students will also learn about diseases of the endocrine system, the tests used to diagnose those diseases and common treatments or therapies.
