Urinary System

The kidney and urinary system, often referred to as the renal system, help the body to eliminate liquid waste called urea, and to keep chemicals, such as potassium, sodium, and water in balance.  This module will teach students the components of the urinary system and how they work together with the kidneys to filter and remove waste.  Students will also learn about diseases affecting the urinary system and how they are diagnosed and treated.
