Digestive System

The human body cannot generate energy itself and depends on external sources.  The digestive system is responsible for breaking down those external sources for the body to process. In this module students will learn about the organs related to the digestive system.  They will learn the important functions of the digestive process and how the system works to provide energy, growth and repair to the body.  We will also discuss the diseases of the digestive system, the diagnostic tests, and the medical care used to treat those diseases.
