Orthopedics

Orthopedics is the field of medicine that involves diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal system.  Orthopedic conditions can be treated through surgical or non-surgical methods. The overall goal of orthopedic treatments is to preserve or restore the musculoskeletal system.  In this module, students will get an overview of the musculoskeletal system, diseases and injuries of tissue, muscle and bones, and the treatments used in orthopedics.
