Musculoskeletal System

The musculoskeletal system provides support to the body and allows the body to have a wide range of movement.  The bones protect the internal organs and support the weight of the body, while the muscles work with the bones to allow for movement.  In this module students will learn the different types of skeletal systems and the role of joints and muscles in movement.  Students will also learn about injuries and diseases that can affect the musculoskeletal system and how they are diagnosed and treated.
